We're back! The 4th annual Oakland Music Festival returns for a full weeklong Downtown Oakland takeover happening:
Friday, September 30th through Sunday, October 9th
We're excited to present our lineup & schedule for OMF 2016. We've been working hard to create a full agenda of events, activities, panels and workshops that encompass many of the aspects and people that make Oakland such an amazing place.
Below you will find info and tickets for each of our events throughout the week, or you can grab one of our All-Access Passes (FYI only a few left!) to get into all our ticketed events for one low price. Start making plans and see you soon.

Oaklandish is hosting its Fall Launch Party at Starline Social Club. DJ Criddy and DJ D Sharp will be supplying the sounds all night and specials guest will be in attendance! To celebrate the release of our Fall 2016 collection, we are making this a FREE with RSVP event so tell your friends and come through!

Kicking off the OMF 2016 week with old school vs. new school funky vibes from Los Angeles house/hip-hop pioneer Egyptian Lover (Stones Throw Records), dance/hip-hop genre bending producer LAKIM (Soulection), and Oakland’s own Sick Sad World for our Starline Social Club takeover.
sept.30 - Creativemornings host May-Li Khoe
Pandora / 8:30am - 10:00am PDT. Hosted at Pandora HQ (16th Floor Backstage - Webster Tower)
CreativeMornings is a monthly breakfast lecture series for the creative community. Each event is free of charge, and includes a 20 minute talk, plus coffee!
May-Li invents new ways for humans to interact with computers. She is currently exploring how to empower learners through curiosity, creativity, and play at Khan Academy, where she directs design and long-term research. Previously, at Apple, she designed and prototyped UI concepts that pushed hardware innovations such as Force Touch, the Taptic Engine, face tracking, multi-touch, location tracking and more. May-Li is a founding DJ of La Pelanga DJ Coalition, and loves dancing, dancing while DJing, blurring the lines between art and code, and daydreaming about joyful ways to subvert the status quo..
