Q: WHEN DO THE GATES OPEN?
Venue gates will open at 12:00pm. A valid ticket for each attendee over the age of 9 years old will require a ticket. Tickets will be sold at the event.
Q: WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?
There will be no ticket refunds. Oakland Music Festival will go on rain or shine.
Q: WHAT IS THE RE-ENTRY POLICY?
Oakland Music Festival attendees will have NO IN and OUT’s. Any tampered or altered wristbands will be considered void, and re-admittance will not be allowed.
Q: WHAT IS THE POLICY FOR THE 21+ VENUE STAGES?
Some entertainers will be performing in venues that require attendees to hold valid identification showing they are at least 21 years old. The main stage and outdoor stage are open to attendees of all ages. Entertainers currently scheduled to perform in the 21+ venues include Chico Mann, The Sam Chase, J. Boogie's Dubtronic Science, Julia Lewis, Bang Data, Daghe, Surf Club, Oakland Faders, Ghost & The City, Trill Team 6, Devi Genoune, Latin Soul Brother, YMTK, Don B, Whiskerman, Golden Era, Dreafauxreal.
In addition, please be aware that some acts may use language that some may consider inappropriate for children. Please consider this before bringing your children to the event if you think this may be of concern.
Q: WILL THERE BE ACCOMMODATIONS FOR ATTENDEES WITH DISABILITIES?
The Oakland Music Festival tries to accommodate all attendees, regardless of any physical limitations or disabilities. ADA compliant accessible restrooms are available at the end of each row of restrooms in each bathroom.
Q: WILL THERE BE PARKNG AVAILABLE AT THES FESTIVAL?
Yes, there are a number of parking garages in the area in addition to limited street parking. We suggest using the parking garage at 2353 Webster Street.
Q: ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED TO ATTEND?
The Oakland Music Festival is an all-ages event. Children 9 years old and under are admitted free of charge, however, no children requiring strollers will be admitted.
Q: WHEN WILL THE SCHEDULE BE RELEASED?
A full schedule of all entertainment will be posted on the website the week prior to the festival at www.oaklandmusicfestival.com.
Q: WHAT TYPE OF MEDICAL SERVICES WILL BE ON SITE?
For those requiring medical assistance, there will be clearly marked medical tents available on site.
Anyone bringing medication or a syringe for medical purposes will need to show proof of prescription for such medication and a photo ID.

• Sunscreen, Hats, Sunglasses, Earplugs
• Non-professional film and digital cameras (All unapproved cameras will be asked to check their battery at the information tent)
• Factory sealed bottles of water (non-glass containers) up to 1 Liter each
• Valid Driver's License or Identification Card

• Weapons of ANY kind
• Illegal Substances
• Large or hard-sided coolers
• Picnic Baskets
• Glass containers of any kind
• Alcohol (alcohol will be sold at the Festival)
• Musical Instruments
• Chains/Chain Wallets
• Large backpacks
• Laser pointers
• Professional still camera equipment (no detachable lenses, no tripods, big zooms, or commercial use rigs)
• Audio/video recording equipment
• No illegal vending is permitted. No unauthorized vendors allowed.
Q: WILL THERE BE FOOD AND DRINK FOR SALE?
There will be many food and drink vendors at the festival (including vegetarian/vegan options). Non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks will also be available for sale.
Q: WILL YOU HAVE ATMs ON SITE?
There will be a number of ATMs on the festival grounds.
Q: WILL THERE BE SECURITY AT THE EVENT?
Our primary goal is to create a safe and secure environment for all Oakland Music Festival attendees. To ensure this, there will be on-site security provided by the Oakland Police Department, as well as by private security companies. If you experience any problems that require assistance, please locate a festival staff member, security guard, or police officer immediately.
Although alcohol is available for sale, OMF reserves the right to remove any attendee that appears overly intoxicated or is disturbing other attendees’ enjoyment of the event.
We expect all attendees to behave respectfully at all times, and not cause disturbances.
